The peak return traffic during the Qingming holiday, Chongqing Railway Station sent 340,000 passengers in a single day.

On April 6th, the Qingming Festival holiday saw a peak in return traffic, with visitors flocking to the countryside, visiting relatives, traveling, and returning to school for work. The transportation pressure of the railway department continues to increase. Chongqing Railway Station announced that today is expected to operate 733 trains, an increase of 76 trains compared to last year, carrying 340,000 departing passengers and 360,000 arriving passengers. A total of 84 additional trains to popular destinations will be operated today.
