The Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway, connecting Guangdong Shenzhen and Jiangmen, is an important part of the national "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway network coastal corridor. Currently, the project has entered the crucial stage of construction. The Zhujiang mouth tunnel of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway is a subsea shield tunnel for high-speed rail. During the Qingming holiday, the tunnel builders have been sticking to their posts, and the domestic large-diameter shield tunneling machine "Shenjiang No. 1" continues to excavate day and night. "Shenjiang No. 1" has excavated more than 4 kilometers, reaching a depth of 113 meters, setting a new world record for the deepest underwater high-speed rail shield tunnel construction.
