On April 6, the Qingming Festival holiday came to an end. According to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, during the holiday period, the city received a total of 10.16 million visitors, an increase of 4.4% compared to the previous year; tourism spending reached 12.34 billion yuan, an increase of 7.4%. The inbound tourism market saw even more rapid growth, welcoming 102,000 inbound tourists and generating tourism revenue of 11.1 billion yuan, representing significant increases of 47.8% and 49.2% respectively. The overall enthusiasm for cultural and tourism consumption in the city continues to rise.
