The number of inbound travel orders on the tourism platform doubled during the Qingming holiday.
On April 6th, data from multiple tourism platforms showed that the number of overseas inbound travel orders increased by 70%-100%. The growth trend of inbound tourism during the Qingming Festival continued the momentum since the Spring Festival, and also demonstrated a trend of transitioning from "traffic" to "quality". Data from Ctrip showed that the number of inbound travel user orders during the Qingming period nearly doubled compared to the previous year, with the number of user orders for entertainment projects increasing by more than 20 times. The continued impact of visa-free policies: among the top 20 foreign source markets for inbound tourism, 15 are visa-free countries, and orders from visa-free countries have significantly increased compared to the previous year, with a growth rate nearly 3 times that of non-visa-free countries; visa-free country visitors in China have shown remarkable growth in purchasing tickets for entertainment activities, with a growth rate of over 7 times that of non-visa-free countries. The "multiplier effect" dividend of visa-free policies and the potential for growth are expected to continue to be released.
