According to the Brazilian website "World Situation", on April 5, the Cuban authorities announced that they had completed the unloading of 100,000 tons of crude oil from the "Anatoliy Kolodkin" oil tanker dispatched from Russia in the Bay of Matanzas on April 4, aiming to alleviate the energy crisis faced by Cuba due to the increased blockade by the United States. The crude oil will be refined in the coming days for the production of gasoline, diesel, and liquefied gas, which are essential for maintaining basic public services and the operation of the national economy. The unloading operation was carried out by the Cuban National Oil Company and is part of the energy cooperation agreement between Havana and Moscow, aimed at alleviating Cuba's fuel supply crisis. The Cuban authorities stated that this oil transportation consolidates the strategic relationship between Cuba and Russia, and expresses the support of the international community in the face of the US blockade.
