Foreign media: Few oil tankers and cargo ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

Multiple media outlets recently reported that a small number of oil tankers and cargo ships have passed through the Strait of Hormuz. Reuters reported on the 5th that an oil tanker carrying Iraqi oil has passed through the Strait of Hormuz and will unload at a related port in Malaysia in mid-April. The media cited unnamed sources as saying that Iran has allowed several ships connected to Malaysia to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Previously, Al Jazeera reported that Iran stated it would allow unrestricted use of the Strait of Hormuz for Iraq. Additionally, Reuters reported that the Iraqi State Oil Marketing Organization has requested customers to submit oil loading plans quickly. The BBC reported on the 4th that a large container ship belonging to the French CMA CGM Group has also passed through the Strait of Hormuz. Shipping analysis firm Kepler said that this is the first time a large Western European shipping organization has had a vessel cross the Strait of Hormuz since the US-Iran conflict erupted. In addition, Japanese shipping company Mitsui stated that one of their liquefied natural gas carriers passed through the Strait of Hormuz earlier.
