On April 6, 2026, the Emergency Management Bureau of Lengshuitan District, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, issued a report: Around 10:00 on April 5, a vehicle rollover accident occurred on a dirt road halfway up the mountain at the entrance of Yanmengkou Mountain in Baofang Village, Yangcundian Township, Lengshuitan District. At the scene, 2 people died and 3 people were injured. Rescue personnel quickly arrived at the scene and began emergency rescue operations. The 3 injured people were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. At 16:50 on the same day, one of the injured died despite rescue efforts, while the other two injured individuals had stable vital signs.
