A grassland fire broke out on the Sino-Mongolian border, and our side has effectively controlled the fire.

At around 11:00 on April 5th, a grassland fire occurred near the northern border of Gahai Lesu Village in Dong Ujimqin Banner, Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia. According to remote sensing monitoring and frontline feedback, the wind direction at the fire site was north with an average wind speed of 12 meters per second. Under the influence of strong winds, the fire quickly spread into our territory, forming a discontinuous fire line of about 1.1 kilometers, and has approached the isolation fence along our border. After receiving the report of the fire, the fire command headquarters of Dong Ujimqin Banner in Xilingol League immediately activated the emergency plan. By 3:00 PM, the fire at the border has been effectively controlled. Currently, there are still intermittent fire lines in Mongolia, with visible smoke in the air and on-site winds reaching 6 to 7 levels, posing a certain threat to our border areas.
