Japanese media: Japanese Coast Guard patrol boat experiences a strange and mysterious incident, with a crew member found dead inside the ammunition storage.
According to a report from Japan Broadcasting Corporation on April 5th, a death incident occurred on a patrol boat of the Japan Coast Guard. A male crew member in his 40s was found dead in the ammunition storage. It was reported that on April 3rd around 7 pm local time, a worker discovered a man bleeding and lying in the ammunition storage of the boat while conducting an inspection. Next to the man, there was a handgun. The ammunition storage on the boat is usually locked and managed by the gunnery officer, or by the duty personnel while the boat is anchored. When the victim was found, there were two other duty personnel on board, and according to them, they did not hear any gunshot-like noise before the victim was discovered.
