A large-scale kidnapping incident occurred in Nigeria, with over 150 people kidnapped.

On April 4th, local time, a spokesperson for the Zamfara State Police Department in Nigeria confirmed that in the afternoon of the same day, a group of heavily armed bandits stormed the Kurfha community in the Bukuyum Local Government Area of the state. The bandits opened fire, causing many residents to flee their homes, and several people were kidnapped. The local council chairman, Umar Abubakar Faru, revealed that more than 150 people were kidnapped, with the majority being women and children. The police stated that a joint team composed of police, military, and other security agencies has been deployed to track down the attackers.
