Guangxi Maritime Bureau initiates "zero discharge" of water pollution from ships on the Xijiang main channel.

Reporters learned from the Guangxi Maritime Bureau that recently, the bureau has issued the implementation plan for the "zero emissions" special action for ship pollutants in the Xi River mainline in 2026. The bureau will start the action to push for the implementation of the "zero emissions" mode of ship pollutants through "onboard storage, onshore disposal" for nearly 800 kilometers of the Xi River shipping mainline from Nanning to Wuzhou, and from Liuzhou to Guiping by the end of the year. This will continue to enhance the reputation of Guangxi's ecological advantages.
