On the first day of the Qingming holiday on April 4th, the China Railway Beijing Bureau welcomed a transportation peak, with an expected 1.77 million passengers to be transported. Among them, it is expected to send 888,000 passengers from Beijing area and receive 508,000 passengers. A total of 78.5 pairs of passenger trains are planned to be added, mainly heading towards Shenyang, Dalian, Taiyuan, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Jinan, Tianjin, Baoding, Shijiazhuang, Handan and other directions. It is understood that on the peak day today, Beijing South Station is expected to send 273,000 passengers.
