Emirates Global Aluminium Group stated that the Taweelah production base, including the smelter and casting workshop, power plant, Taweelah alumina refinery, and Taweelah recycling plant, have all been evacuated. If the final assessment allows, the Taweelah alumina refinery and Taweelah recycling plant may be able to restart partial production early if the site is not damaged.
