Analysis: The March employment report has made the situation of the Federal Reserve more complicated.

Sonu Varghese, Chief Macro Strategist at Carson Group, said that the latest labor data shows that the country's economy is creating enough jobs to keep up with population growth. However, he stated, "This will make the situation complicated for the Fed, as considering a rate cut makes no sense, especially considering the severity of the upcoming inflation shock." Varghese added that inflation was already a concern before the recent Middle East crisis that led to a surge in energy prices. He said, "Ultimately, it seems that last year's rate cut was a mistake."
