On March 30th, the National Energy Administration held a conference on the qualification management work for 2026, summarizing the qualification management, energy credit, and issuance of green certificates since 2025, analyzing the current situation, and deploying key tasks for 2026. Wan Jinsong, member of the Party group of the National Energy Administration and deputy director, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting pointed out that since 2025, the work of qualification, credit, and green certificates has adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, resolutely implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, continuously improved the policy system, effectively stimulated market vitality through qualification reform, consolidated the industry's integrity atmosphere, and achieved a simultaneous increase in the volume and price of green certificate issuance transactions, providing strong support for the transformation of energy towards green and low carbon.
The meeting emphasized that the work of qualification, credit, and green certificates is closely related to the four basic market economic systems of property rights protection, market access, fair competition, and social credit. Its mission is honorable and its responsibility is significant. In 2026, the entire qualification system should be anchored to the goal of building an energy strong country, strengthen overall awareness, mission awareness, service awareness, and integrity awareness, and establish a solid ideological foundation for fulfilling duties and responsibilities; focus on major issues, take on difficult tasks, adapt to new situations, and be strict and efficient in handling minor matters, leading to concrete and effective results in all tasks.
