A Japanese company's liquefied natural gas carrier passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
On April 3rd local time, according to the Japanese shipping company Mitsui, one of their liquefied natural gas carriers passed through the Strait of Hormuz on the 3rd Japan time. Japanese Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Yasunari Koji stated earlier on the 3rd that as of 7 am local time, there were 45 Japanese-related ships anchored in the Persian Gulf west of the Strait of Hormuz. This is the first time Japanese-related ships have been reported to have passed through the Strait of Hormuz and sailed out of the bay after this data was released.
