Goldman Sachs stated in a research report that the stock markets of South Korea, Brazil, and South Africa may provide tactical buying opportunities after recent pullbacks. The bank said that these markets either benefit from rising energy prices, or are less affected by them, while still showing strong fundamentals and reasonable valuations. Looking ahead, Goldman Sachs favors themes that are strengthened by current geopolitical tensions, or at least less likely to be affected by them. These themes include defense, energy security, and artificial intelligence.
