CPCA: In January-February 2026, the export unit price of lithium batteries will be 15,300 US dollars per ton, a decrease of 10%.
According to the data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the export of lithium batteries in January-February 2026 reached 926,000 tons, an increase of 63%, and the export value reached 14.2 billion US dollars, an increase of 43%. The export price of lithium-ion batteries decreased from 27,300 US dollars per ton in 2023 and 20,100 US dollars per ton in 2024 to 15,700 US dollars per ton in 2026, and further decreased to 15,300 US dollars per ton in 2026. The average price in 2026 only decreased by 10% compared to the previous year, a significant improvement compared to the 26% decrease in 2024 and the 22% decrease in 2025.
