The Eurasian Economic Union has made a final ruling on the expiration of the anti-dumping sunset review of aluminum strip involving China.
According to the information from the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on April 2, 2026, the Internal Market Protection Directorate of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued the final ruling on the first sunset review of the anti-dumping measures on aluminum strips originating from China and Azerbaijan. If the anti-dumping duties on the products involved from China and Azerbaijan are lifted, it is likely that dumping of the products and the substantial damage caused to the relevant industries of the Eurasian Economic Union will continue or occur again. Therefore, it is recommended to maintain the anti-dumping duties determined in Announcement No. 115 of 2020, and continue to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved for a period of five years, with a tax rate of 13.14% for China and 16.18% for Azerbaijan.
