April 3rd: The "Wholesale Price Index of Agricultural Products" decreased by 0.43 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on April 3, the "200 Index of Wholesale Prices of Agricultural Products" was 118.72, a decrease of 0.43 points from yesterday, and the "Basket of Vegetables" Wholesale Price Index was 119.76, a decrease of 0.50 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price of pork in agricultural product wholesale markets was 15.15 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.9% from yesterday; beef was 66.40 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; mutton was 63.69 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.8% from yesterday; eggs were 7.83 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.4% from yesterday; and broiler chicken was 17.55 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.3% from yesterday. The average price of 28 types of vegetables under key monitoring was 4.60 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; the average price of 6 types of fruits under key monitoring was 7.65 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Crucian carp was 19.59 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.7% from yesterday; grass carp was 14.62 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; white carp was 10.19 yuan/kg, a decrease of 3.1% from yesterday; and bighead carp was 40.62 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.3% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products under key monitoring in the domestic wholesale market, the top five with the greatest price increase compared to yesterday were shallots, shiitake mushrooms, spinach, lettuce, and Chinese cabbage, with increases of 5.3%, 3.3%, 2.8%, 2.0%, and 1.4% respectively; the top five with the greatest price decrease were white carp, pumpkins, rapeseed, pork, and mutton, with decreases of 3.1%, 2.1%, 2.0%, 1.9%, and 1.8% respectively.
