Brazil initiates second sunset review investigation of anti-dumping duties on Sulfanilic Acid from China.

On March 31, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Announcement No. 24 of 2026, initiating the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on adipic acid originating from Germany, China, the United States, France, and Italy, in response to the application submitted by Rhodia Brasil S.A., a domestic company in Brazil, on October 28, 2025. The product under investigation is classified under the South Common Market (MERCOSUR) tariff code 2917.12.10. The dumping investigation period covers from July 2024 to June 2025, and the injury investigation period covers from July 2020 to June 2025. The announcement will take effect from the date of its publication.
