Data center operator DayOne has committed to invest nearly $6.9 billion in Malaysia by the end of the year.

Data center operator DayOne, headquartered in Singapore, recently announced plans to invest over 8.9 billion new dollars in Malaysia by the end of this year. DayOne expects that more than half of its total workforce in Malaysia will be employees hired this year, and plans to double the number of direct employees in Malaysia to 1,200. This expansion plan is also expected to create over 5,000 jobs in the entire supply chain ecosystem.
