Both sides emphasized the need to stop military confrontations as soon as possible, as these confrontations have led to civilian casualties and serious damage to civilian infrastructure, including in countries not directly involved in the military conflict. Both sides agreed on the necessity to ramp up political and diplomatic efforts to peacefully resolve the crisis in the Middle East, in accordance with international law and taking into account the legitimate interests of all countries in the region. Against this background, both sides affirmed their strong commitment to maintaining close diplomatic policy coordination between Russia and Saudi Arabia, especially within the framework of the United Nations.
