Small and medium-sized banks launch a new round of deposit listing interest rate adjustment
With the conclusion of the "kick-off" period, several small and medium-sized banks have recently started a new round of adjustment of deposit interest rates. Jilin Bank, Xiamen Bank, and Fujian Haixia Bank recently announced a reduction in some term deposit interest rates. Previously, deposit interest rates at banks have already undergone multiple rounds of adjustments. Analysts say that with the end of the "kick-off" phase at the beginning of the year and the continued pressure on net interest margins, banks are now entering a window of centralized management of liability costs. It is expected that the adjustment of deposit interest rates will continue, presenting an overall trend of gradual decline and stabilization, as well as structural differentiation. In a low interest rate environment, interviewed individuals suggest that individual investors should adopt a diversified asset allocation approach to balance returns and risks.
