The China Television Artists Association issued a statement on AI face swapping synthesis, film and television material modification and other issues.

The Actors' Committee of the China Radio and Television Association announced on April 2 that currently, there is a frequent occurrence of infringement behaviors such as AI face replacement synthesis, voice cloning, unauthorized alteration of film and television materials, and unauthorized use of actors' images and voice for AI model training, which seriously violate the legitimate rights and interests of performing artists and disrupt the normal order of the audio-visual industry. In order to regulate the industry development, strictly abide by the legal bottom line, and strengthen the protection of rights and interests, the Actors' Committee of the China Radio and Television Association now issues a solemn statement.
