Chinese Embassy in Singapore: Beware of the risks of intermediary agencies illegally handling passports and travel documents.

Recently, our embassy has found that some intermediary companies are promoting so-called passport and travel permit services to Chinese citizens, and charging high service fees. We hereby remind all Chinese citizens in the country that the embassy has never authorized any intermediary company or individual to handle consular documents on behalf of them. Any intermediary claiming to use the "China Consulate" app to apply for passports or travel permits and charging service fees is considered a violation. Chinese citizens are advised to be highly vigilant of the risks and pitfalls of using intermediary services, and to guard against being deceived.
