Foreign investors were net sellers of Japanese stocks last week.
Foreign investors bought Japanese bonds worth 26.463 trillion yen in the week ending March 27, down from the previous value of 511.8 billion yen. They also bought foreign stocks in Japan worth 140.6 billion yen, revised down from 31.2 billion yen to 30.3 billion yen. On the other hand, foreign investors sold Japanese stocks worth 44.481 trillion yen, revised from -25.097 trillion yen to -25.11 trillion yen. Lastly, there was a purchase of foreign bonds by Japan worth -9.454 trillion yen, revised from -6.353 trillion yen to -6.351 trillion yen in the same week ending March 27.
