Chairman Wu Lei of Shanghai Electric Group met with senior officials of the Moroccan government.

On March 30th to 31st local time, during their visit to Morocco, Wu Lei, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, met with Moroccan Minister of Equipment and Water Resources Nizar Baraka, and Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development Leila Benali, to deepen cooperation between enterprises and government departments of the two countries and pragmatically promote the landing of cooperation projects, reaching multiple consensus. During the visit to Morocco, Shanghai Electric also held talks with senior officials from Moroccan phosphorus salt group and Shanghai Fanghao Industrial Group Co., Ltd. All parties unanimously expressed their intention to collaborate in areas such as green hydrogen production, clean energy, and seawater desalination to provide more support for Morocco's decarbonization strategy and achieve mutual benefits in upgrading and optimizing Morocco's industrial energy structure.
