Yunnan 2.25GW Wind and Solar Project Competitive Bidding Launched

Chuxiong Prefecture in Yunnan Province released the market-oriented competitive allocation announcement for the third batch of new energy projects in 2025, while Wenshan City issued a public announcement for the selection of investment and development entities for the third batch of new energy projects in 2025. According to the two announcements, Chuxiong Prefecture's competition this time involves a total of 35 new energy projects totaling 194.447 megawatts, while Wenshan City's competition involves a total of 3 new energy projects totaling 31 megawatts. Among them, the wind power projects have a total capacity of 121.947 megawatts, and the photovoltaic projects have a total capacity of 103.5 megawatts.
