DRAM prices slightly paused in March, but are expected to continue rising in Q2.
In March of this year, the continuous rise in DRAM prices that had been going on for nearly a year came to a sudden stop due to memory manufacturers and PC manufacturers signing supply contracts in advance and locking in short-term prices. However, industry experts believe that DRAM prices will continue to rise in the second quarter of this year. According to reports from South Korean media, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, the two largest DRAM manufacturers in the world, have recently notified customers that they plan to significantly increase DRAM prices in the second quarter.
