According to statistics from the Zhuhai Border Inspection General Station, the number of single-license plate vehicles entering and exiting Hong Kong and Macao through the Zhuhai Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in the first quarter of this year reached 1.03 million, a significant increase of 17% compared to the same period last year. This is the first time that the number of vehicles has exceeded 1 million in a single quarter since the implementation of the policies "Macao-registered vehicles traveling to the north" and "Hong Kong-registered vehicles traveling to the north" in 2023, setting a new historical high for the same period.
