The Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission issued the "Ten Measures for the Implementation of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission's Promotion of the 'Hong Kong-Macao Drugs and Medical Devices Passport' Policy". Among them, it is mentioned that a special action will be launched to improve the quality and expand the coverage of drug and medical device imports. Establish a drug and medical device selection mechanism that is "clinically demand-oriented, expert evaluation-based, and departmentally coordinated", focusing on advantageous diagnosis and treatment fields, accelerating the introduction of innovative drugs and medical devices that are urgently needed clinically, have definite effects, and are eagerly anticipated by the public. Combined with Guangzhou's key specialties and advantageous disease types, select and cultivate at least two "explosive" medical devices with outstanding clinical value, prioritize the creation of demonstration application scenarios and gradually expand coverage, in order to expand the supply of high-quality medical devices.
