The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology revised and issued the "Management Measures for Industrial Product Quality Control and Technical Evaluation Laboratory"

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued a revised version of the "Management Measures for Industrial Product Quality Control and Technical Evaluation Laboratory", mainly revising four aspects including optimizing functional positioning, strengthening management responsibilities, enhancing operation management, and improving management mechanisms. It includes six chapters and 28 articles, such as general provisions, responsibilities, identification, operation, management, and supplementary provisions, which will be implemented starting from May 1, 2026. The "Management Measures" clearly state that the main tasks of industrial product quality control and technical evaluation laboratories are to focus on promoting industrial diversification, improving product quality, and creating brands. They provide high-level quality technical services to enterprises, carry out key common quality technology research, promote advanced quality technology methods, cultivate excellent quality talents, strengthen quality technology exchanges and cooperation within the industry, and provide decision-making and technical support for quality management work to the government. They also provide quality technical support to enhance industrial basic capabilities, accelerate the construction of a strong manufacturing country and a strong cyber country.
