Liaoning: Subsidies will be provided for the production of high-quality micro-dramas and AI cartoons made using artificial intelligence technology.

According to "Liaoning releases", on March 31, the Liaoning Provincial Government Information Office held a press conference to officially release and interpret the "Several Measures to Promote the High-Quality Development of the Micro-Drama Industry in Liaoning Province". The measures propose to support the integration and research and development of relevant technologies, and to provide subsidies of 10% of the actual computing power input for boutique micro-dramas and AI animated dramas made using artificial intelligence technology. Special support will be given for the integration and creation in key areas such as "micro-dramas + culture and tourism, sports, legal education, intangible cultural heritage". Enterprises carrying out technology research and development projects such as AI-assisted creation will be given subsidies of 20% of the actual investment costs. Focusing on optimizing the business environment, Liaoning Province will greatly improve the efficiency of review, with regular micro-dramas for record filing and online posting being reviewed in real-time upon submission and feedback provided within 5 working days; key micro-dramas will receive feedback within 10 working days after completion and online filing.
