The country's first regional coordinated legislation in the field of government services will be implemented starting May 1st.

On March 26th, 27th, and 31st, the standing committees of the People's Congress of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces respectively voted to pass the "Regulations on Promoting 'One Network, One Stop' Government Services in the Yangtze River Delta." The regulations of the four provinces and one city will be implemented together starting on May 1, 2026. The regulations are another important achievement of regional legislative coordination in the Yangtze River Delta, aiming to support the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region. It is the first regional legislative coordination in the field of government services in the country, and an important legislation to consolidate the achievements of integrated reform in the Yangtze River Delta, enhance governance efficiency, and support reform and innovation. After the enactment of the regulations, a total of 7 full-text coordinated legislative regulations for the Yangtze River Delta region have been in place.
