Dutch International: Euro's gains against the US dollar may continue to be limited
Sina Finance reported on March 31 that Chris Turner of Dutch International Group stated that the appreciation of the euro against the US dollar may still be limited even after media reports suggested that President Trump is willing to end attacks on Iran. In a report, he stated that if there are further reports from Washington about a cooling of the situation, the euro may modestly rise. He also mentioned that in addition, if the US consumer confidence data released at 1400 Greenwich Mean Time shows weakness, the euro may be pushed up to the 1.1550 dollar area. However, he said that unless energy can flow freely through the Strait of Hormuz again, investors may not regain confidence in betting on the euro's strength. The euro rose 0.1% to 1.1468 dollars.
