The Myanmar National Assembly nominates Nann Nann Aye to participate in the presidential election.

Sina Finance reported on the 31st of March that on the same day, the People's Assembly and the National Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Myanmar held group meetings separately. During the National Assembly meeting, anonymous voting elections were held for the two nominated candidates for Vice President. There are a total of 157 members in the National Assembly, with 150 members present. In the end, Nandinine, a member of the Union Solidarity and Development Party, received 117 votes and was elected as Vice President. According to the election procedures, each of the two houses of the Myanmar Parliament elects one Vice President, and the military members of the two houses elect an additional Vice President. Subsequently, a Presidential electoral college composed of members of the Federal Parliament will vote for one President from the three Vice Presidents.
