An explosion in a tunnel in Chongqing resulted in 4 deaths and 9 injuries, and the site of the incident has been shut down.

Sina Finance news on March 31st, about 15:10 on the 30th, a suspected flammable gas explosion occurred in the left tunnel of the Tiefengshan Tunnel in the Enshi to Guangyuan National Highway from Enshi to Kaijiang in Wanzhou District, Chongqing. The accident resulted in 4 deaths and 9 injuries. The construction site involved has been sealed off, and accident investigation and aftermath work are currently underway.
