Sina Finance reported on March 31st that on the opening ceremony of the 14th Energy Storage International Summit and Exhibition on March 31st, Wu Guogang, Deputy Inspector of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated that the scale of the new energy storage industry is steadily growing, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will focus on four key areas. First, plan top-level design with a high starting point, and organize the formulation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the development of new batteries; second, strengthen precise supervision of industrial operations, dynamically track key operating indicators such as energy storage battery capacity, output, and price, strengthen forward-looking judgment and risk prevention, curb low-level redundant construction of production capacity, guide industry to scientifically plan and develop in a standardized manner; third, improve the standard system, strengthen the implementation of mandatory national standards for energy storage batteries, accelerate the formulation of key standards such as product safety levels, performance classifications, and rapid testing; fourth, improve the industry's self-discipline mechanism, focus on building a high-quality, fair, and orderly market ecology, eliminate the dilemma of homogenized competition, and promote the formation of a benign development pattern with the coordinated efforts of enterprise self-discipline, industry regulation, and social supervision.
