During this period, the Yangtze River Delta Railway is expected to transport 28 million passengers. Among them, the peak day of passenger flow is April 4, with a expected passenger volume of 4.3 million, which is expected to reach a new daily high. Earlier, many places in the Yangtze River Delta announced the spring break arrangements for primary and secondary schools in 2026, connected with the Qingming holiday. After the "double holiday" is combined, a holiday of up to 6 days is formed, and the demand for passenger travel is strong. Based on the increase of 40 pairs of passenger trains for spring tourism transportation, the China Railway Shanghai Bureau has arranged to increase 105 pairs of passenger trains, an increase of 55 pairs from last year's Qingming holiday period, to meet the needs of passenger travel.
