Sina Finance News on March 30th, the torch relay event of the 6th Asian Beach Games was held in Sanya. 74 torchbearers relayed and ran, connecting approximately 10.5 kilometers of the Sanya Bay coastline. The theme of this torch relay event is "Pass on Friendship, Meet in Sanya", with three sections including torch collection, starting ceremony, and extinguishing ceremony. At 7:30 am that day, the torch collection ceremony was held at the southern end of the 11th Asian Games torch in the Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area. The first torchbearer, Olympic champion Chang Yani, said that running on the beach with the torch and the sea next to her was a special experience, and she was looking forward to the upcoming Asian Beach Games. The torch relay route this time combines three forms of beach, road, and sea, passing through competition venues such as Sanya Bay Haihong Square, Sanya Photography Base, and finally completing the extinguishing ceremony at Luhuitou Scenic Area. "Although I have participated in many Olympics, this is the first time I have participated in a torch relay, and being the last torchbearer, I feel very lucky and honored." Winter Olympic champion Qi Guangpu said he is most looking forward to the beach wrestling competition at the Asian Beach Games and hopes that Asian athletes can deeply experience the charm of Sanya while competing. The 6th Asian Beach Games will be held in Sanya, Hainan from April 22nd to 30th, with a total of 14 major events, 15 sub-events, and 62 minor events, producing 62 gold medals.
