Sina Finance reported on March 30th that, affected by the conflict in the Middle East, diesel and regular gasoline prices in Germany have recently risen sharply. The German Federal Ministry of Economy announced on March 30th, local time, that measures restricting multiple price increases at gas stations within one day will take effect on April 1st. According to the new regulations, gas stations can only increase prices once at noon each day in the future, but price reductions can still be made at any time. The German government stated that this move aims to control the drastic fluctuations in oil prices and improve price transparency. A spokesperson for the German Federal Ministry of Economy stated that this regulation is part of the "comprehensive fuel measure package" that the German government and parliament recently pushed through.
