2026 Standardization and Technological Innovation Development Forum held in Beijing proposes strengthening the future industry standard layout of quantum technology, embodied intelligence, brain-machine interfaces, etc.
The Standardization and Technological Innovation Development Forum of Zhongguancun Forum 2026 was held on March 26 at the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center in Beijing. Deng Zhiyong, Deputy Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation and Director of the National Standards Committee, Tang Wenhong, Deputy Mayor of Beijing, and Sergio Mujica, Secretary-General of the International Organization for Standardization, attended and delivered speeches. The forum proposed that as the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation accelerates, standards have become a key element in the global innovation landscape and the deep adjustment of industrial layout. It is necessary to improve the standard mechanism for the transformation of innovation achievements, accelerate the application of scientific and technological achievements and the iteration and upgrading of products, and promote the integration of the innovation chain, the standard chain, and the industrial chain. It is important to promote the construction of standards for the modern industrial system, strengthen the research and formulation of standards for emerging industries such as integrated circuits, aerospace, and low-altitude economy, strengthen the layout of future industry standards such as quantum technology, embodied intelligence, and brain-computer interfaces, and promote the improvement and expansion of service industry standards. Deepen international cooperation and exchange on standards, vigorously implement a number of measures to steadily expand the opening of the standard system, promote domestic and international rules, regulations, management, and standards to be interoperable and compatible, and promote common consultation, construction, and shared development through the "soft connection" of standards.
