Secretary for Home Affairs Edward Yau announced that Hong Kong's first five-year plan is being developed at full speed.
Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam said today that various policy bureaus of the SAR government have set up drafting teams to swiftly develop Hong Kong's first five-year plan. Lam expressed confidence that the newly appointed Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Erick Tsang could coordinate and lead the staff of the bureau and related policy bureaus in preparing the five-year plan and other related work, in order to fully serve the public and contribute to Hong Kong. Tsang expressed sincere gratitude for the nomination by the Chief Executive and the appointment by the Central Government, and eagerly looks forward to and will do his best in carrying out the work.
