Guangzhou Railway responds to "train trapped in tunnel with water and power cut off"

On March 29th, the Guangzhou Railway issued a situation statement: At around 3:00 pm on March 29th, due to strong rainfall and tornadoes, the contact network between Nanguang high-speed railway and Guigang high-speed railway from Guangzhou South to Foshan West Station, and between Foshan and Liwan of Guangzhan high-speed railway was damaged by foreign objects. This resulted in varying degrees of delays for some trains. The railway department immediately activated the emergency response plan and carried out urgent repairs. The railway department apologized for the inconvenience caused to the passengers due to the train delays.
