Heavy fog compounded with strong convective weather have caused the suspension of 50 passenger shipping routes along the coast of Zhejiang Province.

The journalist learned from the Zhejiang Maritime Bureau that due to the continuous influence of warm and humid air, dense fog has occurred along the coast of Zhejiang starting from the morning of March 29. In some sea areas, visibility is less than 500 meters, which has a significant impact on waterway navigation safety. As of now, 50 passenger routes including Ningbo Zhitou to Taohuadao in Zhoushan have been suspended. Key port waters such as Ningbo Chuanshan Nangang area, Meishan Port area, Dinghai Neigang, Aoshan Port area, major navigational channels such as Xiashi Men, Tiao Zhu Men, Shuangyu Men, as well as the waters around Xiangshan Port Bridge and Zhoudai Bridge are currently still under fog navigation control.
