The War Studies Institute and Key Threats Project under the American Enterprise Institute released the latest updates, analyzing the Iran-related conflicts. It mentioned that the Houthi armed forces launched ballistic missiles, drones, and cruise missiles attacks on southern Israel on March 27-28, marking the organization's first involvement in this war. The institute's analysis suggests that the Houthi armed forces are currently choosing to participate in the conflict by attacking Israel with drones and missiles, rather than targeting international shipping, indicating a relatively cautious strategy to avoid direct confrontation with the US and Israel. The report also mentions that the US-Israeli coalition continues to target Iranian defense industry facilities, including the Iran Marine Industries Organization in Tehran, the Parchin military complex, and the Iran Marine Industries Company in Bushehr province. The coalition continues to weaken Iran's air defense capabilities to maintain air superiority in certain areas of Iran. On March 28, the Israeli Defense Forces attacked a facility involved in producing components for Iran's air defense systems in the central province of Arak. The US-Israeli coalition also attacked the Bushehr airport and the nearby Iranian Army's 6th tactical air base in Bushehr province on March 28.
