Iran claims to have targeted and arrested several armed members of foreign terrorist groups.

The Iranian intelligence department issued a statement on the 28th, announcing that security forces have carried out special operations in multiple locations, resulting in the killing of 5 separatist terrorists and the arrest of 19 mercenaries employed by American and Israeli intelligence agencies. The statement stated that the 5 separatist militants who were killed had long been under the command of the Israeli side, and had previously planned and carried out bomb attacks targeting civilian facilities and public places, resulting in the death of one civilian and injuring 7 others. At the same time, the intelligence department took action in the province of Khuzestan, identifying and capturing 10 members of a terrorist organization. This group had previously launched armed attacks on local security forces and attempted to disrupt public order. Additionally, law enforcement officers in Ardabil province dismantled another branch of this group, capturing 3 core members. 6 other suspects were also apprehended. Upon preliminary investigation, it was found that the aforementioned individuals had been collecting intelligence on Iranian military bases and sensitive departments for a long time, and subsequently transmitting this information to foreign media outlets and terrorist networks under Israeli control.
