BASF Coatings announces management transition following completion of the deal.

BASF Coatings announced on March 26th that Jens Luehring will be appointed as CEO after the completion of the transaction between BASF and Kerry Group, at which point BASF Coatings will become an independent coatings company. Current President of BASF Coatings Hurida will continue to lead BASF Coatings until the completion of the transaction, after which she will support Jens Luehring to ensure a smooth transition. The transaction announced by BASF and Kerry Group on October 10, 2025, is subject to customary regulatory approval and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.
