Sequestration of over 1.3 billion cubic meters of carbon dioxide is a new breakthrough in China's large-scale carbon reduction efforts.

Today, it was learned from Sinopec that China's first million-ton carbon capture, utilization, and storage demonstration project - the Sinopec Shengli Oilfield Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage Project, has injected a total of over 1.3 billion cubic meters of carbon dioxide, reaching a historic high since the project started operation, marking a substantial breakthrough in China's large-scale carbon emission reduction and green energy development.
